The Last Presentation
The Last Presentation is a 38-minute educational video that targets social science classes in diversity, sociology, and comparative religion. The production cost was $8,500 and it took 18 months to complete. In October 2006, the DVD was mailed to social science teachers in 16,000 US high schools.
The video depicts a presenter addressing a comparative religion class of 35 students. She gives an atheist's point of view and answers questions from students.
The goals of the video are to open young minds to the importance of logic, reason, and science, and to promote the separation of church and state. It introduces students to the nonbeliever's point of view.
